Prior to practicing Real Estate as a NYS Licensed Real Estate Broker, I was a controller in the Investment Banking Industry and provided accounting services consulting with small business establishments. In 1997, I entered the mortgage business as a mortgage loan processor/originator. I was a Mortgage Broker/Owner 2000- 2008 . I continue to keep up to date on mortgage guidelines and maintain my NYS Mortgage Loan Origination license. It is my practice to continue my education in Real Estate over and above the requirements put forth by the State to maintain a higher level of expertise in my field. In an effort to build my foundational knowledge, I completed my education in 2014 for my GRI designation. I feel my clients benefit from my fully rounded experience in many areas of every real estate transaction.
As a CBR, Certified Buyer Representative , it is my opinion that buyers should not enter the real estate market without their own interests protected. I was an exclusive buyers agent for 8 years and continue to advocate buyers agency. As a listing agent, I have been able to develop a marketing strategy that has been extremely successful for my clients. My company has added social marketing to its campaign as well as taking advantage of the major listing /distribution services available to reach more buyers in the market.
I feel the mark of success is not measured by the volume of business transacted. It is through meeting the goals of your clients . My experience in sales has taught me the importance of meeting my clients needs and has given me the listening skills and patience needed to ensure a smooth and efficient real estate transaction. I recently purchased my first home and understand that buying a home is an emotional process, one that cannot be rushed. Outside of real estate, I’m a wife, a stay-at-home mother of three, an artist and photographer. We as a family love the outdoors and love to take camping trips in various states to have exciting experiences in new places. I’m also a member of the leadership team at my church and love singing and playing the piano during worship.
Having been in the hospitality industry for 11 years as well as in sales as a private aircraft coordinator, it gives me a solid foundation to understand client/customer needs at the highest level. My degree in these fields have given me the knowledge to further my career as a real estate salesperson.
